Remote Accountant / Bookkeeper with QuickBooks Online Expertise

Job Overview We are currently in search of a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper, Accountant, or Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals who excel in organized and high-paced environments and possess substantial experience with QuickBooks Online.

Key Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of 10-20 clients to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of their financial records. Your key tasks will include: • Reconciling bank and credit card accounts • Reviewing and categorizing financial transactions • Identifying and rectifying discrepancies in client records • Managing bill payments, loan tracking, and invoicing • Filing 1099s and calculating sales tax • Processing payroll filings and reporting • Maintaining comprehensive financial transaction records • Submitting daily reports to your supervisor • Accurately tracking time spent on each client's work • Utilizing internal software to document client interactions • Performing additional bookkeeping and accounting tasks as necessary Required Skills The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following skills: • Strong communication and organizational abilities • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (mandatory) • Capability to manage deadlines and work effectively under pressure • Dependability and punctuality in fulfilling work commitments • High level of confidentiality in handling client and company data • Must be based in the U.S. with excellent English proficiency • Flexibility to work varied hours when required

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should meet these qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent • 1-3 years of practical experience with QuickBooks Online (required) • 1-3 years of bookkeeping experience managing multiple clients • (Preferred) Experience as an Accountant or Staff Accountant • Willingness to engage in additional in-house training as necessary
