California Special Education Case Manager Work from Home

VocoVision is seeking a dedicated Special Education Case Manager (K-12) in California to oversee and manage the individual education plans (IEPs) for students in a remote setting, ensuring compliance with all educational regulations and providing support to teachers, parents, and students. This position does not involve direct instruction but focuses on the organization and management of student cases. Responsibilities: ? Manage and oversee individualized education plans (IEPs) for assigned students. ? Conduct regular evaluations of student progress and make recommendations for necessary adjustments or accommodations. ? Serve as the point of contact for parents/caregivers, maintaining communication regarding the student's academic progress and any updates to their IEP. ? Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, ensuring the implementation of all educational accommodations. ? Collaborate with other educators to ensure that IEP goals are being met effectively. Qualifications: ? A bachelor?s degree is required. ? Must hold a valid California Teaching Certification. ? Minimum of 2 years of experience in special education or case management. ? Required clearances to work in public/charter schools. ? Experience in early childhood education is preferred. ? Full-time commitment: 37.5 hours per week. ?
