The role requires a strong understanding of insurance concepts and excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities ? Verify insurance coverage for patients requiring in-home IV therapy. , ? Perform benefit investigations and obtain prior authorizations for new and existing patients. , ? Process patient prescription orders in a timely manner. , ? Demonstrate excellent customer service to patients, healthcare professionals, and insurance carriers. , ? Understand insurance carriers and concepts including drug cards, major medical benefits, and per diem coverage. Requirements ? Analytical and problem-solving skills. , ? Attention to detail. , ? Experience working in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word. , ? High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required. Nice-to-haves ? Minimum one year experience working in a healthcare environment. , ? Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party vendors. , ? Epic experience. Benefits ?
