Learn more: https://prosperaaccounting.com/ Position Overview Prospera Accouting is seeking a Part-Time Accountant with strong accounting/bookkeeping experience to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. This role requires a self-starter who works well independently and has strong attention to detail. Key Responsibilities • Process invoices, payments, and reconcile transactions • Maintain accurate financial records and balance general ledgers • Prepare and analyze financial reports for management • Monitor and reconcile bank and credit card transactions • Assist with payroll processing and compliance with tax regulations • Ensure financial activities align with federal, state, and local requirements • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency • Provide financial insights to clients to support informed decision-making Qualifications • Experience: Minimum 4 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience • Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting (Bachelor’s preferred) • Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Google Workspace (equivalents are acceptable) • Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently Benefits • 401(k) with 6% company contribution • Access to supplemental benefits through Colonial Life • Flexible work schedule (must be available on Mondays) • Opportunities for growth to full-time position and skill development Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour (based on experience) Hours: 15-25 hours per week Apply Job!
