Key Responsibilities Serve as the outsourced Controller/CFO for multiple nonprofit clients, providing strategic leadership to enhance their financial operations and align with their missions. Develop and present financial reports for management and Board decision-making, ensuring precision and transparency. Propose and execute enhancements to accounting processes, internal controls, and compliance policies to support client strategies and best practices. Oversee critical transactional tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable (encompassing revenue recognition and billing), payroll, general accounting, reconciliations, and month-end closure. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis to facilitate informed financial decision-making. Manage grant oversight, fund distributions, and reporting for funding entities. Prepare for and supervise annual audits. Offer training to clients and staff on best practices in accounting and financial methodologies. Required Skills Strong passion for supporting nonprofit organizations. Exceptional communication and organizational abilities, with capacity to juggle multiple priorities efficiently. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks is essential; familiarity with other general ledger systems and electronic payment platforms is advantageous. Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a valued asset. Experience in a remote or hybrid work setting is preferred. Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, demonstrating a successful track record in managing multiple clients or projects. CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation
And Benefits Competitive salary within the range of (90,000 - )120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
