Insurance Operations Specialist – WA-Based, Remote Option

Compensation & Benefits: • Salary range during the first year: $20-$25 per hour • Paid Time Off (PTO) • Sick Time Off (VTO) • Flexible work schedule • Continuous growth and learning Primary Job Functions & Activities: In this role, you will gather and analyze client data to provide accurate insurance quotes and recommendations. You’ll respond to client inquiries, assist in gathering agency notices, and help with policy updates. Your ability to conduct thorough client research and deliver excellent customer service will ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction. Roles and Responsibilities: • Data Collection – Collaborate with the team to collect accurate, up-to-date information for quoting purposes. Utilize various tools and systems to gather relevant data for creating insurance quotes. • Policy Analysis – Analyze client information to determine appropriate coverage options and policy details. Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulations while tailoring policies to meet client needs. • Quote Preparation – Provide detailed explanations of coverage options, premiums, and any additional information relevant to the agent. • Client Requests – Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service through email and text. This includes responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification. • Filter Work – Gather and distribute agency notices and text messages to the Agency Email platform. • Client Research – Investigate client requests to gather relevant information and insights for the servicing team. Work Environment: As an Operations Specialist, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment where strong organizational skills and teamwork are key. Success in this role requires: • Multitasking: Managing multiple tasks, prioritizing effectively, and meeting deadlines. • Attention to Detail: Ensuring all work, communication, and records are accurate and complete. • Task Management: Scheduling meetings, setting reminders, and keeping track of deadlines. • Problem-Solving: Identifying issues early and finding practical solutions. • Collaboration: Working closely with team members and other departments to achieve goals. You’ll play an important role in keeping operations running smoothly and providing great service to our clients. Experience: • 1-2 years of administrative or operations support experience. • Prior experience in an office environment or a customer-facing role is a plus. • Familiarity with office productivity tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite). Schedule: • Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–3:00 PM (Preferred time, flexibility if needed) (This position is currently part-time, but as the company continues to grow and expand, there may be opportunities to transition into a full-time role. We’re looking for someone eager to grow with us and contribute to our success.) • This Position can by in-office or remote, but only open to candidates who reside in Washington State.
