Key Responsibilities • Accurately transcribe depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings. • Process audio recordings while adhering to established style guides to produce precise verbatim transcripts. • Maintain a keen attention to detail in understanding and documenting spoken content. • Collaborate effectively with our supportive in-office team as needed. Required Skills • Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription. • Exceptional listening skills and proficiency in grammar, spelling, and comprehension. • Strong adherence to deadlines and client-specific guidelines. • Capacity for remote collaboration and ability to manage time effectively. • Typing speed and accuracy with capability to process challenging audio/text content. • Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures. • Must be able to pass a background check. • Court reporting students are also encouraged to apply.
