What You Will Be Doing • Crafting and identifying content that goes viral, challenging conventional views on gifted education. • Compiling a deep repository of cutting-edge research and trends in gifted education. • Producing engaging daily short-form content (tweets, threads, videos) and weekly long-form content (podcasts, blogs, spaces). • Representing gt.school at industry events and forging relationships with educational thought leaders. • Setting quality benchmarks and enhancing AI-generated content to maximize our outreach. What You Won’t Be Doing • Endorsing minor tweaks within the traditional educational framework. • Creating generic content that doesn't instigate real change. • Prioritizing enrichment over acceleration. • Staying behind the scenes – this role calls for public thought leadership. Gifted Education Consultant Key Responsibilities Foster and engage the largest community in gifted education, uniting parents, educators, and advocates committed to unlocking the full potential of gifted students. Basic Requirements • Demonstrated success in cultivating an engaged social media following (1,000+ followers). • Direct experience with gifted education as a parent, former gifted student, or professional/researcher/advocate. • Reside in the US or Canada with a strong grasp of the gifted education landscape. • Outstanding skills in multimedia content creation and storytelling. • Confidence in public speaking across diverse formats. • Willingness to travel occasionally for conferences and industry events. Working with Crossover This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
