About the position Zillow, Inc. is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join their Seattle office. This role involves collaborating with team members and data engineering to identify business needs, document requirements, and create scalable reporting solutions. The analyst will lead the design and maintenance of dashboards, enhance data consistency, and leverage advanced analytics skills to drive data utilization across the organization. Responsibilities • Partner closely with team members and data engineering to identify business needs and document requirements. , • Build scalable solutions to meet reporting and operational needs. , • Organize, enhance, and drive consistency in metrics and data assets. , • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-visibility dashboards for sales professionals and collaborators. , • Identify new opportunities for data use across the Market Management organization. , • Leverage experience in reporting and analytics to improve data utilization. , • Apply advanced skills using SQL, Excel, and Tableau or other data visualization tools. , • Build high-quality, scalable user reports and dashboards, architecting the underlying data objects thoughtfully. , • Translate business needs into technical requirements for data engineers. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field. , • Two years of experience in crafting data and visualizations to extract key insights from data. , • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other data processing languages. , • Experience in building data pipelines and ETL jobs for regular data transformation, extraction, and loading. , • Experience with Tableau.
