About the position The Senior Agency Management Professional plays a crucial role in analyzing financial transactions related to agency management, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the management of commissions for external producers. This position involves complex data analysis, independent decision-making, and collaboration with various teams to maintain accurate financial reporting and compliance standards. Responsibilities • Engage with producers and regulatory bodies regarding missing or incomplete commissions. , • Perform audits related to commission payments and ensure proper entries to the general ledger. , • Analyze regulations to establish required appointment fees for producers to ensure compliance. , • Make independent decisions regarding work methods in ambiguous situations. , • Research and analyze financial information for internal and external audits. , • Act as the primary contact for resolving commission payment issues. , • Set up and audit contracts in the systems to ensure timely and correct payments. , • Organize workload and manage multiple smaller projects simultaneously. , • Perform analysis focused on control and prevention of issues. , • Assist in problem-solving and process improvement activities. , • Collaborate with commissions, compliance, and financial reporting teams to maintain data handling processes. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience , • 5 or more years of technical experience , • 1 or more years of financial analysis and/or reporting experience , • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel & Access , • Proficient knowledge of VBA, SQL, and SQL Server, including SSIS , • Strong attention to detail and investigative skills , • Experience working with large amounts of data , • Ability to partner with peers to review needs and solutions , • Passion for contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences and IT , • Growth mindset regarding new technologies and processes.
