Provider Network Management Director

About the position The Provider Network Management Director at Elevance Health is responsible for developing and managing the provider network through complex contract negotiations and relationship development with large health systems and affiliated physician groups. Responsibilities • Develop the provider network through contract negotiations and relationship development. , • Lead associate resources and special projects related to network planning. , • Act as a subject matter expert for local contracting efforts and specialized components of the contracting process. , • Serve as the lead contractor for large-scale, multi-faceted negotiations. , • Represent the business unit on enterprise initiatives around network management. , • Assist management in network development planning as needed. , • Provide work direction and establish priorities for field staff, including mentoring and development. , • Conduct complex negotiations and prepare financial projections and analyses. , • Collaborate with the sales team for presentations to employer groups. , • Act as a communication link between providers and the company. Requirements • Extensive experience in provider network management and contract negotiations. , • Strong leadership skills and experience managing associate resources. , • Expertise in complex health systems and affiliated providers. , • Ability to work independently with high judgment and discretion. , • Experience in financial projections and conducting analyses.
