PURPOSE: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior React Native Engineer to join our team and lead the development of complex, high-performance healthcare-based applications. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and shape the future of our mobile application platform. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable streaming applications using React Native, Expo, and other relevant technologies. • Collaborate closely with product and design teams to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications. • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code adhering to industry best practices. • Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and provide constructive feedback to improve overall team performance. • Optimize application performance for speed, scalability, and reliability. • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions. • Work with backend teams to seamlessly integrate APIs and data sources into the application. • Stay updated on emerging mobile development trends, tools, and technologies, bringing innovative solutions to the team. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: • Technical Skills: • Experience with developing applications leveraging RESTful APIs. • Familiarity with native modules and the ability to integrate native libraries. • Knowledge of video codecs and streaming protocols is a strong advantage. • Leadership & Collaboration: • Experience working with and leading a team of developers. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and team members. • Work Ethic: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently. • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript, along with frontend frameworks such as Redux, MobX, or Apollo. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience: • Minimum of 6 years of consumer application development, with significant expertise in React Native and Expo(optional). • Proven track record of building mobile applications interacting with AWS infrastructure. • Working with healthcare technologies (Nice to have) Apply Job!
