Customer Service Rep Remote Part-Time
About the position As a Customer Service Representative, you will work from home and have the flexibility to set your own schedule while assisting patients and caregivers in self-directed Medicaid programs. Your role will involve answering calls, providing information, and helping resolve issues related to payroll services for caregivers. Responsibilities Answer incoming calls from patients and caregivers with compassion and professionalism. , Assist with enrollment, program applications, and setup in applicable systems. , Retrieve information to assist caregivers with payroll-related inquiries. , Utilize de-escalation techniques to support upset or frustrated callers. , Offer guidance and directions to caregivers and patients to resolve issues. , Document information and outcomes as necessary. Requirements At least one year of customer service experience. , Strong computer skills and ability to offer troubleshooting advice. , Ability to offer empathy, patience, and a friendly demeanor at all times. , Ability to handle sensitive calls and de-escalate emotionally charged situations. , Great active listening skills. , Excellent written and verbal communication skills. , Strong attention to detail. , Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment. , Quality-focused mindset with a desire to achieve first call resolution. , Ability to accurately work with numbers and discuss financial matters.
