Responsibilities • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries. • Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash transactions with precision. • Provide product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and engagement. • Maintain an organized and stocked sales floor, ensuring products are readily available for customers. • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. • Assist in supervising junior staff members when required, fostering a collaborative work environment. • Utilize basic math skills to process transactions and provide change accurately. • Promote sales by actively engaging with customers and suggesting additional products or services. Qualifications • Previous experience in customer service or cashier roles is preferred but not mandatory. • Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. • Basic math proficiency for accurate transaction processing. • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn about products and services offered. • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
