Senior UX Product Designer - Emerging Experiences(Remote Or Hybrid)

About the position As a Senior Product Designer within Target's Guest Experience team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional digital shopping experiences. Your role will involve leveraging UX sprints to develop frameworks and deliver functional proof of concepts in collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will focus on understanding consumer needs and trends to create actionable strategies for new experiences, ensuring high-quality design and innovation throughout the process. Responsibilities • Contribute to UX strategy and vision for product experiences across digital platforms. , • Participate in UX sprints for discovery, co-creation, future-visioning, and functional proof of concept delivery. , • Investigate new opportunities using qualitative and quantitative research methods. , • Create design deliverables such as journey maps, wireframes, user flows, UI design, and prototypes. , • Hold design work to a high standard of craft, including accessibility and user research. , • Contribute to a culture of human-centered practice within UX, product, and engineering teams. , • Navigate complexity and ambiguity to deliver impact for guests and the business. Requirements • 4+ years of relevant product design work experience. , • Intermediate skills in UX and product design, structuring and planning work, and owning the design process. , • Proficiency in UX, product, and service design, as well as design strategy and service design methods. , • Experience with product design and prototyping tools, particularly Figma. , • Strong strategic problem-solving, systems thinking, and collaboration skills. , • Ability to effectively use data and insights to inform design direction. Nice-to-haves • Experience in co-creation sprints and service design methods. , • Demonstrated ability to communicate design recommendations to non-design stakeholders. , • Familiarity with accessibility standards in design.
