Remote Program Associate for Educator Professional Development

Our methodology prioritizes Social Emotional Learning, Equity, and Civic Engagement, partnering closely with schools and districts to foster transformative shifts in mindset, teaching practices, and school culture. Key Responsibilities • Facilitate engaging professional learning by leading in-person and online workshops and seminars for educators and school leaders, enhancing their teaching methodologies and alignment with our mission. • Establish partnerships by recruiting new schools and districts to implement our programs through introductory sessions and collaborative initiatives. • Maintain and cultivate robust communication and relationships with educators and leaders within schools and districts. • Collaborate with program staff to plan and deliver impactful professional learning opportunities across Ohio. You will provide both in-person and virtual training for schools in Cleveland and beyond, with potential for program delivery extending beyond the region. Required Skills • Proven communication and facilitation skills. • Strong expertise in social-emotional learning, school culture, and civic education. • Experience in culturally responsive teaching and equity-focused initiatives. • Knowledge of humanities, particularly in European or US history, or ELA/literacy strategies. • Proficiency in designing and facilitating technology-enabled learning experiences using tools such as Zoom, Canvas, and Google Suite. • An entrepreneurial mindset with the capability to operate both independently and collaboratively. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and a commitment to continuous personal and professional growth. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. • At least 5 years of teaching experience in secondary education (grades 7-12). • A minimum of 3 years of experience leading professional development and/or adult coaching in educational settings.
