About the position The Disney Destinations Communications Intern will support the global Sales, Services & Events team, focusing on communication initiatives for various U.S. based Disney Destinations. This internship will involve assisting with internal and third-party client communications, social media content creation, and operational updates. The role emphasizes graphic design and writing to develop and implement effective communication strategies. Responsibilities • Support internal and third-party client communication initiatives. , • Assist with local Cast engagement efforts and social media content creation. , • Distribute day-to-day operational updates and messages. , • Develop and implement communication strategies under the leadership of the Sales Communication Manager. , • Design engaging visuals for digital signage, presentations, and Cast recognition initiatives. , • Conduct photography for print and electronic communications. , • Manage communication distribution needs, including print collateral and intranet updates. , • Craft creative social media content for Disney Travel Professional platforms. Requirements • Graphic design experience with innovative and creative ideas. , • Strong written and verbal communication skills. , • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office applications. , • Excellent proofreading and editing skills with attention to detail. , • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills. , • Ability to work independently or in a group and remain flexible with projects. Nice-to-haves • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. , • Experience with video production. , • Ability to learn new software applications and web-based CMS. , • Strong administrative skills in a professional environment. , • Proficiency in AP Style writing, grammar, and punctuation.
