The primary responsibility of the Materials Handling Assistant is to support customers in loading their purchases into their vehicles, as well as replenishing the shelves for future customers. Safety is of utmost importance due to the frequent lifting and movement of items. Travel Requirements: The position at hand does not entail frequent travel; regardless, it may require traveling on occasion for attending meetings, trainings, or for providing aid to stores nearby. We have established a framework for the type of candidate we want to bring on board: • The determination of whether an employee is working full-time or part-time is based on their schedule. Typically, full-time workers are scheduled for 39 to 40 hours per week, and part-time employees work up to 25 hours per week. However, more hours may be required if the store's operations necessitate it. • The job necessitates availability for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts on all days of the week. • Fitness level to accomplish tasks that may demand extended periods of standing, sitting, or any other physical activities necessary for successful job performance. • The minimum necessity is the proficiency to elevate 25 pounds without help, yet it is possible to raise more with or without assistance. Surrounding yourself with supportive individuals who encourage your growth is crucial for success: Minimum Qualifications: • My computer literacy level advanced over the course of 6 months, enabling me to execute data-related tasks like information inputting, accessing, modification, and outputting. • Proven track record of being adept at operating standard retail technology tools like smartphones and tablets for a duration of six months. • Sales professionals must be capable of obtaining mandatory licensure or registration as per legal standards. Preferred Qualifications: • I have accumulated 6 months of retail work experience. • The ideal candidate for a Loader role would have gained six months of experience whilst working in a home improvement or hardware store. • Those who have worked in any department at Lowe's retail store for a length of 6 months are eligible to apply. • Being involved in retail merchandising for a period of 6 months, I have fostered expertise in a diverse range of duties such as Zone Recovery, stocking, down stocking, facing/fronting product, pricing, maintaining signage, and housekeeping. • One who holds a 6-month long record in any field taking care of examining, shipping, handling and loading or unloading materials or products to or from vehicles.
