Customer Support Specialist

We are looking for a Customer Support Specialist (CST Time Zone) who should be experienced in providing customer service via phone, email, etc. as well as proficient in coordinating activities associate related to business processes. Responsibilities: • Deliver exceptional customer service as a primary point of contact from customer utility submittal to solar activation • Work with residential customers (homebuyers) to get solar net metering documents signed. • Educate customers how Net Metering works in their utility. Also provide realistic timelines for the approval process by the utility company. • Set and achieve customer expectations through all points of contact, providing regular proactive communication on project status, timelines, and next steps • Work with customers prior final home purchase and after to obtain inputs such as documents or signatures on application forms. • Interact with customers via Phone calls, emails, and text messaging. • Manage a pipeline of 100+ projects. • Provide accurate and timely resolution to customer questions and requests • Maintain a current understanding of utility, permitting & other external lead times • Document all customer interactions in accordance with standard process • Handle escalated projects in collaboration with stakeholders across the business and where necessary, escalate projects with challenges to Supervisor for resolution • Identify areas of improvement in our customer journey and work with the account manager and your leadership team to implement solutions • Coordinate with account managers, utilities, jurisdictions, sub-contractors, build partners, and internal construction manager to ensure a smooth and efficient activation • Problem solve project challenges, support teams in removing roadblocks, and escalate issues as needed to ensure quick action and resolution Requirements: • 2 years, plus of project administration, project management or field construction experience • Exceptional customer service skills and maintaining customer relationships • Strong communication skills with the ability to resolve customer questions and issues • Strong computer skills: Salesforce, Google Suite, MS Word, Excel, Oracle is a plus • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Detail-oriented and ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • The Specilaist has to work in CST time zone We have an amazing team of 700+ individuals working on highly innovative enterprise projects & products.
