The Manager of Data Management is responsible for developing and overseeing the organization’s data management strategy, ensuring the effective collection, storage, and utilization of data. This role involves leading a team of data professionals, developing data policies and procedures, and ensuring data quality and security. The resource will work closely with various departments to support data-driven decision-making and drive the organization’s data initiatives. The Manager of Data Management role is based in Irving, Texas, and reports directly to the Director of Data Management & Governance. What you’ll get to do • Develop and implement a comprehensive data management strategy aligned with organizational goals. • Lead and manage the data management team, providing guidance and support. • Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures. • Ensure compliance with data-related regulations and standards. • Develop and implement data quality standards and metrics. • Monitor and improve data quality across the organization. • Work closely with IT, legal, compliance, and business units to align data management initiatives with organizational goals. • Communicate data management policies and procedures to all relevant stakeholders. • Support data-driven decision-making by providing accurate and timely data analytics and reporting. • Develop and maintain data dashboards and reporting tools. • Identify opportunities for improving data management practices and implement best practices. • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data management. Essential Experience and Skills • Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
