Work-Fit is seeking Licensed Athletic Trainers to join our Team of Virtual Providers that provide Virtual Services for our customers throughout the U.S. The scope of service will focus on incident consultations, job coaching, and providing health and wellness education. These are remote/on-call positions. Coverage is currently provided 24/5 (Monday-Friday). There is no minimal shift... requirement. On call coverage rate of $5/hour - if an evaluation is conducted $40 per call taken. Must be available within a few minutes to take any calls. Position Description: A Work-Fit Virtual Injury Prevention Specialist (Work-Fit VIPS) is directly responsible for exceeding customer expectations by making health personal through the delivery of virtual Work-Fit services to the client. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Policy and Procedures a. Maintains a professional work environment in a manner consistent with the Code of Conduct of the Work-Fit Employee. b. Understands and abides by Work-Fit, and Client Policy and Procedures. c. Understands and works within the structure of the Work-Fit and Client agreed upon Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Manual which defines the delivery of service at the specified client site. 2. Business Planning a. Assists in the establishment of strategic goals that match Work-Fit services and resources to the needs of the customer. b. Completes assignments from Work-Fit Leadership to meet the strategic goals of the Program. 3. Record Management a. Documents all Work-Fit service interactions in the Healthy Roster recordkeeping database in accordance with all Work-Fit record management policies and quality practices. 4. Delivery of Work-Fit Services a. Makes health personal through the delivery of the agreed upon Scope of Services to the customer in accordance with the SOP. 5. Customer Relations a. Integrates with the customer and participates in client meetings and on client committees as delegated. 6. Professional Development a. Remains current with all policies, credentialing and laws governing professional practice. b. Advances professional and technical knowledge by completing educational workshops, obtaining advanced certifications, completing virtual courses, reviewing professional publications, establishing strategic networks, collaborating with other professionals and benchmarking state-of-the-art practices. 7. Program Marketing a. Assists in the development of a marketing plan for the integration and advancement of Work-Fit services as delegated by Work-Fit Leadership. b. Develops and delivers marketing materials and presentations. c. Proactively create a culture of personal health and responsibility through the development, distribution, delivery and posting of educational materials utilizing available client and Healthy Roster distribution/posting resources. 8. Facility/Office Management a. Ensures that the security of sensitive records (hard copy and computerized) is maintained at all times. b. Maintains a work area that is neat, clean and organized in compliance with Work-Fit Remote Work Policy. c. Ability to manage technology and troubleshoot issues in an efficient manner. d. If requested by Work-Fit, provide and utilize a personal computer or tablet and smartphone to deliver service. 9. Additional Duties and Projects as Assigned Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in the Work-Fit/Customer specified health field. • Effective written (including proper grammar and spelling) and oral communication skills with individuals as well as group settings. • Ability to manage time to ensure all duties and responsibilities are met on a daily and weekly basis. • Ability to work without direct supervision. • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and ability to conduct on-line research. • Comfortable in the delivery of service through a virtual platform including visual presentation of oneself during video interactions and visualizing various work environments such as manufacturing, warehousing, office, and outdoors. • Self-Starter with the ability to work autonomously in a remote office environment.
