Transport Clerk - Nights

Transport Clerk £12.73p/h Burton on Trent (DE14) Sunday to Thursday 22:00-06:00 We are currently recruiting for a Transport Clerk to join the team of our reputable distribution and logistics client in Burton On Trent. You will be joining the warehouse team to ensure the efficient and smooth running of stock entering and leaving the depot for distribution. Duties include: - Following the customers instructions ensuring pick lists are prepared correctly for the warehouse team and allocating stock for moving in and out the depot. - Liaising with the drivers to ensure deliveries and collections are running smoothly - Keeping delivery records - Recognize and rectify any issues quickly and efficiently - Updating database and systems to ensure information is correct and up to date for the planning teams About you... - Min 2 years relevant work experience in similar role, logistics or planning. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel - Ability to use multiple systems, ie SAP, TMS, GTS. - Confident... and professional customer service manner - Fluent English verbal and written PLEASE BE AWARE: - This role is based on side, due to the nature of the role hybrid/remote working is not possible - If successfully accepted for the role you MUST pass a drugs and alcohol test on induction and can be tested at random at anytime in this role. - In this role you will come in to contact with stock containing alcohol. - For the initial training period you will be required to work on the morning shift, and then move onto nights.
