Lead Python Developer - Azure - Web Application (Greenfield Project) £100,000 per year Fully remote from the UK We are looking for a Lead Software Developer to join our client in developing a new web application, predominately working on the backend. The client is a US based business with a strong UK function, who run a platform to help aid non profit organisations find independent funding. The application will be built on the Azure platform ideally using Python and will use a variety of Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in web application development, Azure, and a passion for building innovative software but experience in any major cloud provider is fine but you must be happy to use Azure. The team is a small engineering team, and you will be the main engineer building the product from scratch. Responsibilities: • Design and develop new features for the web application • Work with a team of data scientists, product owners and devops... engineers to implement new features • Test and debug the application • Work closely with the CTO & CEO to help define direction and Strategy • Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in web application development Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field • 6+ years of experience in web application development • Strong experience in Azure would be great but any major cloud is okay! • Excellent programming skills in Python but open to using other backend languages • Strong problem-solving skills • Any experience building Dashboards would be desirable • Any experience working in Start up woulds be great • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Passion for building innovative software If you're interested to find out more please submit your application today.
