We are looking for a Southwest Territory Sales Manager and this position will be remote within the United States (CA, NV, AZ, UT, NM). This remote role is for candidates within the region, who are required to live near a major airport within the designated Territory. The TM will report to the Sr. National Sales Manager, West, and will have no direct reports. Position Overview Siemens Building Products is looking for an experienced... Territory Sales Manager (TM) focused on Channel Sales for Siemens Fire Products. You will represent one of the leading brands in Project Fire Alarm and Safety Systems and join a highly motivated and successful team. You will make an impact by: • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new Partner prospects within the third-party channel of the territory. • Drive profitable growth through strategic business planning and account development to meet or exceed channel sales targets. • Providing strategic business development and onboarding of new partners. • Presenting, promoting, and selling Fire Safety solutions to existing and prospective Partners, Contractors, Engineers and End-Users. • Developing a proactive response to customer needs and business priorities utilizing Siemens resources, while operating in a time efficient and organized manner. • Monitoring sales activity and conducting regular business reviews. • Becoming a trusted advisor and solution provider to our partners by demonstrating industry knowledge and fire safety portfolio expertise. • Assisting the Product Development team with new product roll outs including training, supporting documents, competitive analysis, test sights, promotions, and all other relevant activities • Performing to plan and driving a “bottoms up” forecast. • Set weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals for overall sales, sales calls, product mix/segmentation, new prospects, training, as well as many other sales metrics. You will win us over by having the following qualifications: • Bachelors degree. • 5+ years’ experience with Fire Alarm and Safety Products. • 5+ years’ experience selling direct to customer or end-user. • Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time. • Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States. Preferred qualifications: • Excellent relationship building skills. • Good mix of Account Management and New Business Development skills. • Strong Sales and Marketing background with a track record of success in achieving goals. • Working knowledge of a CRM sales tool. • Public Speaking and Presentation skills. • Strategic thinking and conflict resolution skills. • Cold calling, networking, and industry outreach. • Memberships within industry organizations such as NFPA, SFPE, AFAA, etc. We offer you: Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
