A U.S.-based company developing a dynamic pricing platform that will enable Amazon brands to determine the ideal price for each product is looking for a Python Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of writing well-tested code that is easy to read and understand. The company's AI technology enables brands to analyze hundreds of real-time data points and pinpoint the perfect price. The company has managed to raise more than $2 mn during their Seed round of funding. This will be a long-term, full-time position requiring some overlap with the PST time zone. Job Responsibilities: • ?Communicate effectively with team members • Ask for help and feedback when needed and engage in knowledge sharing • Write code and tests for pulling data from 3rd party integrations and loading it into a structured database for each data source (ETL) • Provide API access to the data collected from 3rd parties • Analyze data sources to help decide which are useful for the DS/ML team • Maintain the data... pipeline architecture, automation, scalability, and error handling • Monitor pipeline performance and stability • Job Requirements: • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience) • At least 6+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer • Prolific experience working with Python and API Integrations like JSON, XML, CSV, etc. • In-depth knowledge of SQL programming language and databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc) • Nice to have some experience with Docker, Kubernetes, NoSQL, and ETL Pipelines • Fluent in spoken and written English communication Apply Job!
