Probate Paralegal (Independent Contractor, Remote)

We are seeking an experienced probate paralegal to assist with primarily non-contested matters on a flexible, independent contractor basis. This position would be a good fit for someone looking to take on supplemental work... with the freedom to set their own schedule. Role Overview: You will work directly with clients and manage the progression of probate cases, including: Gathering and organizing client information. Drafting inventories, accountings, and court documents for attorney review. Communicating with clients, court personnel, and third parties. Independently managing probate cases under attorney supervision from start to finish, ensuring efficient administration by working closely with the personal representative to keep the case on track. Utilizing case management software like Lawmatics and cloud-based file systems to streamline workflows. Implementing strategies and procedures to improve client experiences and office efficiency. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience handling Colorado probate matters. Familiarity with case management software (e.g., Lawmatics) and cloud-based file storage systems. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
