Senior Bookkeeper - Remote | WFH

Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and administrative tasks. Reconcile bank accounts and manage other financial reconciliations. Process and record financial transactions, including journal entries and general ledger entries. Provide guidance and support to junior bookkeeping staff. Oversee and manage tax filing processes. Collaborate on the development of accounting processes and procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Work with cross-functional teams to support decision-making and strategic initiatives. Assist the Finance Manager with year-end tax preparation and finance projects, including acquisitions and dispositions. Uphold confidentiality of financial information and adhere to best practices in finance operations.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience, with at least 5 years in a senior role leading projects or teams. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or relevant certifications. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. Proficiency in accounting software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. A commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth. Must pass a background check. Preferred Experience Background in real estate property management. Experience with property management software (e.g., Rent Manager, Yardi, Campspot, ManageAmerica, AppFolio, Buildium).
