The Director of Safety and Mission Assurance is responsible for ensuring that the proper safety process, analysis and protocols are set in reputed company for the LTVS program in the reputed company, at the launch site and in in reputed company operations consistent with the risk tolerance set by NASA and reputed company and the appropriate regulatory agencies.
