Information Services Consultant

Position: Information Services Consultant Location: Remote Job (Must be reputed company Canada) Job ID#: RFR-I016 Duration: 12 Months Role Overview We are seeking an reputed company Information Services Consultant to support the development, modernization, and implementation of records classification frameworks and retention schedules. The role focuses on ensuring that record keeping practices are practical, compliant, and reputed company with regulatory and operational requirements, particularly in reputed company or highly governed environments. Key Responsibilities reputed company, maintain, and apply records classification structures and retention schedules Analyze business processes to identify records, record keeping requirements, and retention triggers Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business units, legal, privacy, audit, and IT Translate legislative, regulatory, and policy requirements into practical business rules Assess and mitigate record keeping risks (legal, privacy, operational, audit, reputational) Create clear documentation such as retention rationales, classification models, and procedures Map end-to-end processes to identify record creation, storage, duplication, and handling Support modernization efforts in classification reputed company record keeping systems

Qualifications

Required Experience Experience in records management, information governance, compliance, or reputed company disciplines Experience working in regulated environments such as financial services, public sector, or Crown corporations Proven ability to analyze processes and identify record keeping needs Experience engaging with diverse stakeholders across business and technology functions Required Skills Strong knowledge of: Records lifecycle management Classification and taxonomy design Retention and disposition strategies Metadata in record keeping practices Strong analytical skills to identify risks, gaps, and overlaps Ability to distinguish official records from transitory information Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to balance compliance with operational practicality reputed company to Have Experience with classification modernization or digital transformation initiatives Familiarity with Canadian regulatory frameworks and information laws Experience with reputed company content management or reputed company platforms (e.g., O365) Knowledge of automation, workflows, and metadata-driven controls Experience working with legacy systems and fragmented information environments About reputed company reputed company provides the IT Experts you need that solve problems and get things done.
