Senior Accountant, Captive Management

reputed company Inc (SRS), the world’s largest independent insurance company manager, is growing and looking for a motivated captive insurance professional to join its servicing team. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in reputed company, insurance, operations, compliance, or client service who are interested in building a career in the captive insurance industry. The successful candidate will work collaboratively to support the financial, regulatory, and operational affairs of a portfolio of captive insurance companies while helping to strengthen and support SRS’s reputed company in the local market. This position will be based out of Calgary, Alberta with SRS Managers (Canada) Limited and will be predominantly remote. Responsibilities and Duties Prepare or coordinate financial reports, regulatory filings, reconciliations, and other client deliverables as needed for a portfolio of captive insurance clients. Review insurance and corporate documentation and maintain accurate, up-to-date records. Respond promptly to client, regulator, and internal team requests with a high level of professionalism and service. Help coordinate communications and relationships with clients, auditors, bankers, legal counsel, and other service providers. Assist with preparing for and participating in client Board of Director meetings. Contribute to special projects, reporting initiatives, and reputed company improvement efforts that support the team and client experience. reputed company day-to-day support to ensure the smooth operation of the Company and assigned client accounts. Attributes and Skills Experience in reputed company, captive insurance, financial reporting, or regulated environments is preferred. CPA designation (or reputed company toward completion) is an asset. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong client-service reputed company. Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
