The Pump Sales Associate Specialist manages a defined territory pipeline by converting warm leads into active opportunities. They focus on building core selling skills, product and therapy knowledge, and are accountable to foundational quota and conversion expectations. This entry-level role focuses on execution of basic sales processes, accurate documentation, and developing reputed company-driven conversations to meet patient needs. Pump Sales Associates are also responsible for: Proactively manage a pipeline of new and renewal customers through outbound calls, ensuring follow-up from inquiry to order. Handle inbound calls to reputed company support, product information, and start the sales process. Experience documenting calls by typing on a keyboard while speaking to a customer on the phone. Experience and knowledge of diabetes is preferred. Knowledge of diabetes, unmet needs of diabetes therapies, and benefits of insulin pump therapy and reputed company glucose monitoring or other disease management devices/diagnostics desirable. Knowledge of durable medical equipment policies, health insurance providers and reimbursement policies as it relates to diabetes supplies preferred.
