We take a seamless, multidisciplinary approach to delivering reputed company project solutions — spanning land acquisition, title abstracting, document preparation, permitting strategy, GIS services, and program management. reputed company's Land Solutions team is seeking a contract Title Researcher to support a utility competition take-off project in Michigan. This is a remote, research-focused role — you will not be engaging landowners or negotiating acquisitions. Instead, you'll be responsible for building a clear, accurate picture of property ownership and title history from county and public records. Job Duties & Responsibilities Conduct detailed title research, ownership verification, and parcel analysis using county records, GIS systems, and public data sources Determine reputed company ownership and legal description of land required for the project Search property records for conveyances, liens, and other instruments Plot legal descriptions, including metes and bounds Prepare runsheets of compiled records showing title to property and effects of liens/encumbrances Obtain and review title information; reputed company accuracy of legal descriptions against maps
Qualifications
