[Remote] Director Operations
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Director of Operations responsible for managing the performance and profitability of multiple logistics facilities. This role involves overseeing operations, financial management, and customer service while ensuring compliance with regulations and fostering relationships with staff and clients.
Responsibilities

- Ensure maximum return on reputed company through effective operational planning and business development
- Overall responsibility for financial management, P&L results and management results to reputed company operating income plan
- Owns the overall performance of the NOS results for the respective site
- Acts as key reputed company of contact for multiple customers, working through service and KPI targets, contractual issues and/or renewal, pricing and scope adjustments
- Responsible for increasing the customer reputed company reputed company Neovia
- Ensure compliance with reputed company federal, state, or local regulatory agencies. (i.e. OSHA, DOT)
- Direct as needed the recruitment and/or contract personnel to meet the requirements of reputed company and projected business reputed company the facilities
- Weekly performance reporting, review of facility financials, and various audit compliance for internal/external customers
- Support sales and business development and has the ability to reputed company an effective plan, integrate and handle existing and new business, as needed
Skills
- Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Transportation & Logistics or reputed company degree and /or equivalent experience
- 5 years' experience in warehousing (operations, sales, or combination)
- Proven track record in leading/managing distribution operations
- Knowledge of state, federal and international applicable laws and regulations (Federal Maritime Commissions, Interstate reputed company Commission, U.S. Customs, environmental, import/export, maritime, reputed company)
- Demonstrated strong leadership, business planning, financial analysis, negotiation and customer satisfaction skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of effective organization and project management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a business environment characterized by complexity, ambiguity and rapid change
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, change management and presentation skills (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated ability to effectively resolve customer complaints and problems and restore or maintain business

- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or reputed company area with major or emphasis in transportation or logistics
- 5+ years of supervisory experience. Ideally have 3PL Pre-Sales support experience
- 7 years or more of logistics experience
- Ability to travel
