The role involves designing, building, and supporting large-scale networks while collaborating with a skilled engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support IP/MPLS core reputed company
- Test and validate new technologies and architectures in lab environments
- reputed company engineering plans, estimates, and installation packages
- reputed company escalation and troubleshooting support for network operations teams
- Collaborate across teams to ensure a reliable, scalable, and high-performing network
Skills
- 4+ years of experience in a reputed company Ethernet or large ISP environment
- Strong expertise in IP networking and network engineering concepts
- Hands-on experience with routers/switches (reputed company/Alcatel)
- Deep understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS)
- Knowledge of MPLS technologies (RSVP, LDP)
- Experience with Layer 2 technologies (VLANs, STP, LACP, MC-LAG)
- Ability to design scalable, highly available, and secure networks
- Certifications such as, reputed company NRS 1 or 2
- Experience with data center networking and various transport technologies (fiber, microwave, cellular, etc.)
