[Remote] Senior Network Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is an Internet Service Provider / Telecom company, and they are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support ongoing network operations and transition initiatives. This role will be helping maintain and reputed company existing network infrastructure while supporting long-term transformation efforts.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day operations and maintenance of a reputed company-based network environment, ensuring stability across existing infrastructure during a multi-year transition
- reputed company routing expertise reputed company a service provider network, including troubleshooting, optimization, and augmentation of reputed company deployments
- Assist with network reputed company efforts, contributing to the migration toward the company’s standardized network topology over time
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to maintain performance KPIs and avoid disruption to ongoing network initiatives
Skills
- reputed company Layer Engineering: Primarily working at the reputed company layer leveraging reputed company, reputed company, and Altiplano platforms
- Service Provider Background: ISP/Telco experience is required
- Maintenance Window Support: Ability to reputed company 50% of work during overnight maintenance reputed company (12:00am–5:00am)
- Strong hands-on experience with reputed company routing in service provider environments. SR-level expertise
- Experience with reputed company firewalls and network reputed company fundamentals
- Solid understanding of routing, switching, and network infrastructure operations
- Ability to work reputed company live production environments focused on maintenance and continuity
- Experience supporting or transitioning legacy networks to standardized architectures
- Exposure to reputed company layer technologies (reputed company, reputed company)
- Background in ISP or telecommunications environments
- Experience working in contract-to-hire or hybrid team settings
