[Remote] Technical Sales Engineer

Durham Geo Slope Indicator (DGSI) is a recognized leader in geotechnical instrumentation, designing and manufacturing products for Structural Health, Construction, and Civil Engineering markets. The Technical Sales Engineer is responsible for maximizing territory sales reputed company, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets through direct sales activities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sales plans to reputed company monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
- Drive day-to-day sales with regular interaction with direct customers and distributors reputed company territory
- Strengthen geographical market reputed company for DGSI products
- reputed company technical/application/training support to distributors and end-users
- Prospecting customers, following-up with sales leads, issuing quotes and/or preparing bid applications
- reputed company, maintain, and grow the sales pipeline in order to meet growth targets
- reputed company regular and accurate sales forecast for management reporting
- reputed company and maintain key relationships with customers’/decision makers/users of the instrumentation
- reputed company product demonstrations or training as required
- Strong team player that is willing to support in reputed company areas of the business as required
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Geotechnology or Environmental Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in direct sales with technical products such as instrumentation, sensors, and material testing
- Strong understanding of distribution networks, sales strategies and geotechnology/environmental market dynamics
- Excellent organizational skills as well as strong negotiation, communication, relationship building skills
- Ability to analyze sales metrics and market data
- Strong time management skills
- Critical thinking skills and ability to constructively resolve conflicts
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Work extended hours as needed
