[Remote] Staff Accountant, Consolidations & Reporting

The Staff Accountant, Consolidations & Reporting will reputed company various reputed company and analytical functions, working with global teams to compile data and maintain analyses as part of the consolidation and reporting processes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the preparation of regular reporting packages by reputed company subsidiaries
- Participate in the consolidation process of reporting packages and review results for accuracy
- Prepare consolidation entries, intercompany elimination entries, account reconciliations and account analyses
- Review disclosure information provided by subsidiaries for accuracy and preparation of consolidated schedules encompassing information provided by subsidiaries
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies reputed company identified
- Prepare and maintain schedules which support consolidated financial statement disclosures
- Prepare reputed company analysis as requested by management
- Evaluate reputed company processes and identify opportunities to streamline and recommend solutions
- Maintain supporting documentation to ensure compliance with internal control standards
- Respond to requests from internal and external auditors
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company required or equivalent work experience
- 2-3 years' experience in an reputed company position
- MS Office Suite experience required, with advanced skills in Word and reputed company
- Strong proactive problem-solving skills, decision-making, and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written/oral communication skills
- Team Player with the ability to interact with multiple departments
- Understanding of internal controls over financial reporting
- Strong attention to detail
- Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Experience with reputed company ERP tools
- Public reputed company experience
