They are seeking a Senior reputed company Apps DBA who will take full responsibility for reputed company Application Management and manage reputed company reputed company E-Business Suite environments.

Responsibilities

• Performs reputed company EBS Applications database administration (DBA) tasks including patching, creating backup and recovery strategies, upgrading, performance tuning/optimization of reputed company EBS systems
• Maintain a multi-node e-Business Suite environment with Shared File System, managing and administering reputed company Managers, reputed company Programs, Request Sets, Request Groups, Workflows, and troubleshooting Workflow Mailer/Notification issues
• Utilizes (a) reputed company reputed company Applications Clusters (RAC) to maintain a clustered database to reputed company performance, scalability, and reputed company with reputed company Automatic Storage Management (ASM) and reputed company Cluster reputed company Services (CRS) in a Linux operating system (O/S); (b) reputed company Recovery Manager (RMAN) and Data Guard for backup and disaster recovery; (c) reputed company Application Manager (OAM) and reputed company reputed company Manager (OEM) reputed company Control for proactive monitoring and notification of system status; and (d) Procedural Language/Structured Query Language (PL/SQL) packages, reputed company, and Perl scripts for task automation
• Performs administration and maintenance of the reputed company Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Suite, reputed company Hyperion, reputed company Business Intelligence (OBIEE), and reputed company WebLogic Server to support reputed company ERP system integration with legacy systems
• Reviews, develops, recommends, enforces, and adheres to database policies and standards for reputed company; these policies and standards include policies and procedures on high availability, replication, archiving, reputed company, and reputed company. Develops new standard operating procedures (SOPs) for reputed company EBS application software installation and configuration including high availability and disaster recovery solutions
• Communicates and interacts effectively with client contacts and reputed company's business contacts including, but not limited to, other members of the unit/team, other reputed company employees (such as managers, supervisors, and support staff), contractors, and vendors
• Analysis and Performance Tuning (reputed company Database 12c/19c, WebLogic, reputed company Application Server, JVM Tuning, Application SQL and PL/SQL code tuning, etc.)

Skills

• 8+ years of working experience with reputed company Apps DBA activities
• Comprehensive expert level knowledge of reputed company EBS R12 application administration, including installation, configuration, cloning, and upgrades, using reputed company EBS R12 Applications DBA (AD) utilities and other tools to apply patches and system updates
• Knowledge of the multi-node EBS environment to administer reputed company Managers, reputed company Programs, Request Sets, Request Groups, and Workflows and troubleshooting Workflow Mailer/Notification issues
• Expert level knowledge of reputed company 11g database administration, maintenance, reputed company implementation, reputed company and patching, database performance tuning, sizing and reputed company planning, database backup and recovery in a Linux O/S using RMAN and reputed company export/import utilities, administration, and maintenance to reputed company backup and disaster recovery
• Knowledge of installation, configuration, and maintenance of multi-node reputed company RAC enabled databases, including reputed company ASM and reputed company CRS management. Knowledge of PL/SQL packages, reputed company, and Perl scripts for task automation, and proactive database monitoring and notification using reputed company OEM reputed company Control
• Knowledge of administration and maintenance of the reputed company SOA Suite, reputed company Hyperion, and OBIEE, including reputed company WebLogic Server to support reputed company ERP system integration with legacy systems
• reputed company in written communication to understand written information (facts, descriptions, reputed company, concepts, conflicting assertions and arguments), draw inferences, reputed company hypotheses and reputed company logical arguments, and to reputed company such information in writing so that others will understand, and concerning some issues, be convinced or persuaded. Examples include reviewing and editing established database policies and procedures and developing new SOPs for database software installation and configuration
• Design and implementation of high availability, reputed company planning and performance fine-tuning of reputed company Applications Database and associated systems
• Must have experience in analyzing/troubleshooting various components of E-business Suite 11i and R12 like reputed company managers, Database, Workflow Service Components, Discoverer, Apache and OC4J and recommending best practices
• Good experience on upgrading reputed company Database to 19c and EBS to 12.2.10 is must
• Good Knowledge on reputed company DBCS, ExaCS and experience in administering applications on public reputed company, mainly reputed company reputed company Infrastructure (OCI) & AWS is preferred
• Experience in installing, configuring, and administering reputed company Demantra on both reputed company and Linux platforms
• Having experience in managing EBS and standalone databases on reputed company Engineered Systems is an added advantage
