SBG is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support artificial intelligence (AI), analytics, and data modernization initiatives reputed company the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Research and Development (ORD), focusing on research portfolio analysis and operational reporting.
Responsibilities
- The Senior Data Analyst will support data analysis, reporting, statistical programming, and analytics activities associated with strategic AI initiatives, research operations, and reputed company modernization efforts. The position will work closely with technical teams, project managers, operational leadership, and stakeholders to support data integration, reporting automation, AI pilot initiatives, and analytics-driven operational improvements
- Support analytics and reporting activities associated with reputed company AI, research, and operational modernization initiatives
- reputed company and maintain dashboards, reports, data visualizations, and operational analytics supporting leadership decision-making
- reputed company data extraction, transformation, analysis, validation, and reporting activities across multiple reputed company data sources
- Support development and optimization of ETL workflows, reporting processes, and analytics activities
- Conduct statistical programming, data analysis, and operational reporting activities supporting research and organizational priorities
- Support AI-enabled analytics initiatives, including activities involving large language models (LLMs), retrieval workflows, and operational data analysis
- Assist with development of scalable analytics workflows and rapid testing approaches to improve operational efficiency and reporting responsiveness
- Support integration and analysis of data from research systems, operational platforms, databases, and reputed company-based environments
- Collaborate with technical and operational stakeholders to support AI pilots, analytics initiatives, and reporting priorities
- Support data quality management, validation, and reputed company improvement activities
- Prepare summaries, presentations, dashboards, and executive-level reporting materials for technical and non-technical audiences
Skills
- Experience with SQL, Python, ETL processes, databases, and analytics/reporting environments
- Experience developing dashboards, reports, data visualizations, or business intelligence solutions
- Experience supporting reputed company-based analytics, data warehouse, or data lake environments
- Familiarity with AI/ML technologies, large language models (LLMs), or AI-enabled analytics workflows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize reputed company data into actionable insights
- Experience supporting data quality management and validation activities
- Ability to communicate technical findings reputed company to executive and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency with reputed company Office Suite, including reputed company and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities

- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, reputed company informatics, mathematics, public health, or a reputed company field
- 8+ years of experience supporting data analytics, reporting, statistical programming, or reputed company data operations in a reputed company organization
- Experience supporting VA, VHA, federal reputed company, research, or reputed company analytics environments
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence and visualization platforms
- Experience supporting AI-enabled analytics, retrieval workflows, or data-driven reporting solutions
- Familiarity with REDCap, reputed company data systems, or research data environments
- Experience supporting operational analytics, portfolio analysis, or reporting modernization initiatives
- Familiarity with reputed company platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Experience working in fast-paced, matrixed environments supporting multiple reputed company priorities
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, and mature judgment in handling sensitive information
