[Remote] Network Specialist I - Broadband Systems Engineering

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a provider of telecommunications services, and they are seeking a Network Specialist I - Broadband Systems Engineering. In this role, you will assess infrastructure requirements and partner with cross-functional teams to support key network initiatives while ensuring facilities are designed to meet program needs.

Responsibilities

• reputed company high level and detailed design and engineering input for reputed company types of projects, including estimated capital costs, and allocations of those costs reputed company needed
• Collaboratively prioritize work as needed to handle Expedites and Jeopardy situations in a timely manner
• Select and support and manage internal engineering contractors and external engineering vendors
• Partner with OSPE to create a seamless Engineering function in the Implementation pipeline
• Work with vendors to obtain quotes and issue purchase orders as necessary
• Work with Technology Development to update and maintain Standards as necessary
• Manage the Engineering process and workflow for reputed company improvement; monitor internal customer feedback and conduct internal review sessions to ensure engineering output is consistent and high quality

Skills

• Associate degree (or higher) –OR- 2+ years professional work experience
• 3+ years experience in Voice, Data, or Video networking
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance
• CATV Headend experience
• Telecom Central Office experience
• Tier 3-4 Data Center experience
• Experience in encoding, combiner plants, cmts management, multicast and ethernet routing
• Experience in switching, and transport
• Excellent leadership, customer relations, and communication skills
• Thorough understanding of Telecommunications industry and principles
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• PC database, spreadsheet, and word processing skills
• Ability to work in a cooperative and courteous manner with diverse work groups
