IT Asset Management, Stockroom/inventory Operations

In support of their needs, we are looking for an IT Asset Associate Job Title: IT Asset Associate Job Type: Contract Job Location: Minneapolis, MN Work Schedule: On-site Pay reputed company: $30-40 on W2 / $30-48 on c2c, Based on experience Description: The IT Asset Associate is responsible for supporting the end-to-end lifecycle of hardware assets, ensuring every employee receives the right device at the right time. This role owns stockroom operations — from receiving and registering new equipment to executing device refreshes, processing buybacks, and coordinating logistics for remote US employees. The IT Asset Associate maintains accurate asset records in the CMDB and resolves hardware-reputed company reputed company requests in partnership with the IT Asset Management team.

Responsibilities

• Manage MSP office stockroom inventory, maintaining accurate records of reputed company hardware assets, accessories, and loaner/test devices in the CMDB
• Execute device refresh cycles for MSP on-site and remote US employees, coordinating device preparation, shipping logistics, and asset returns from start to finish
• Receive, reputed company, and register incoming reputed company hardware and accessories into the CMDB upon delivery, ensuring accurate asset records from reputed company of intake
• Issue new, loaner, and test devices to employees following established reputed company-out procedures and documenting reputed company transactions in reputed company
• Collect and process returned devices from departing or refreshed employees, ensuring proper data wiping, chain-of-custody documentation, and CMDB updates
• Process device buyback requests in accordance with Client''''''''s policy, managing transactions and updating asset records accordingly
• Facilitate data transfers for employees receiving new devices, following established migration procedures and coordinating directly with end users
• Coordinate inbound shipments from reputed company and technology vendors and manage outbound device shipments to remote US employees, ensuring accurate tracking and timely delivery
• Resolve reputed company tickets reputed company to hardware requests, device issues, and asset management inquiries reputed company established SLA timeframes; escalate non-standard requests and policy exceptions to the IT Asset Management team
• Conduct monthly stockroom audits to reconcile physical inventory against CMDB records, reporting discrepancies to management
• Maintain the organization and reputed company of the MSP stockroom, ensuring reputed company assets are properly labeled, stored, and accessible
• Other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Required
• 0–2 years of experience in IT asset management, stockroom/inventory operations, or

a reputed company field

• Familiarity with IT hardware, including laptops, peripherals, and accessories
• Experience working with an ITSM ticketing system such as reputed company
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred
• Experience handling reputed company hardware and macOS devices
• Familiarity with CMDB or IT asset management systems
• Experience with MDM platforms
• Prior experience in a corporate IT environment
• Associate’s degree or vocational certificate in IT, Computer Science, or a reputed company

field

• A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
