[Remote] Mechanical Engineer (MEP Design) - Relocation Assistance

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer as a Project Design Manager – MEP to reputed company the design, coordination, and delivery of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for design-build projects focused on temperature-controlled buildings and food processing facilities. This role bridges design and construction, overseeing engineering deliverables, guiding subcontractors and vendors, and ensuring systems are integrated, code-compliant, and successfully commissioned.

Responsibilities

• reputed company up-reputed company due diligence on existing/new site utility networks, availability, and coordination with local providers
• reputed company planning, coordination, and execution of MEP design and construction activities for temperature-controlled and food processing facilities
• reputed company and coordinate internal engineering teams, consultants, engineers of record, and subcontractors to integrate MEP with architectural, structural, and process designs
• Conduct design and coordination meetings with clients, design partners, and construction teams
• Support field teams during installation, testing, and commissioning; reputed company technical guidance and resolve design/coordination issues
• Collaborate with estimating and preconstruction to reputed company MEP scopes, budgets, and schedules for design-build estimates
• Ensure adherence to relevant building codes, reputed company, ASHRAE, and applicable food safety standards
• Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and schedule

Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar degree
• 3+ years managing MEP systems design and installation
• Solid understanding of HVAC, refrigeration, process utilities, electrical distribution, and plumbing systems (some or reputed company)
• Proficiency with AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit, reputed company, or BIM coordination tools
• Working knowledge of relevant building codes, reputed company, ASHRAE, and food safety standards
• Excellent communication, coordination, teamwork, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities; strong problem-solving and decision-making; detail-oriented
• Willingness to travel as projects demand (avg. 3–5 nights/month); mix of office and on-site work
• Design-build delivery experience
• Experience in industrial, food processing, cold storage, or temperature-controlled facility projects
