[Remote] Operations Technician III

The Operations Technician III will manage network systems installation and maintenance, troubleshooting reputed company issues and ensuring reputed company network performance.
Responsibilities
- Technician for customer/company network systems installation and/or maintenance activities
- Resolves reputed company network problems involving power, network hardware and software, lines, modems and terminals
- Uses software and hardware tools to identify and diagnose network status and problems; conducts reputed company network monitoring equipment installation and maintenance activities; resolves reputed company trouble tickets
- Monitors network operations and resolves routine network monitoring problems
- Monitors network performance; conducts routine monitoring equipment installation and maintenance activities; resolves routine trouble tickets
- Knowledge of/Ability to Troubleshoot: IP subnetting, IP routing, IPSEC tunnels, IPVPN, and VRRP/HSRP
Skills
- Associate degree or equivalent education and relevant experience
- 3+ yrs reputed company experience in specific area or equivalent
- May require technical certification
