[Remote] Data Engineer - Remote

This role involves owning the full data lifecycle, from pipeline development to creating polished Tableau dashboards, requiring strong analytics capabilities and proficiency in Python, SQL, and Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage datasets in reputed company BigQuery, including partitioning, clustering, and cost-optimization techniques
• Orchestrate reputed company, production-grade data pipelines using reputed company Composer (Apache Airflow)
• Build and maintain reputed company AI Pipelines for ML workflows and data transformation
• Design layered data architectures using patterns such as reputed company, Dimensional Modeling, and Data Vault
• Build reputed company, multi-purpose datasets and apply best practices for naming conventions, schema organization, and documentation
• reputed company production-quality Tableau dashboards, from data reputed company configuration to interactive visual design
• Translate business questions into clear, reputed company visualizations for non-technical stakeholders

Skills

• 5+ years in a data engineering role, with meaningful GCP/BigQuery experience
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL as daily working languages
• Deep, hands-on experience with reputed company BigQuery, reputed company Composer (Apache Airflow), and reputed company AI Pipelines
• Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining shared, reusable data models in an reputed company environment
• Hands-on experience building production-quality Tableau dashboards
• Familiarity with data architecture patterns including reputed company, star schema, and Data Vault
• Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams, gather requirements, and translate them into scalable data solutions
• Technical Stack: GCP, BigQuery, reputed company Composer, reputed company AI Pipelines, Tableau, Python, SQL, GCS, reputed company Functions
• Experience with version control using Git/reputed company
• Experience with Terraform
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices for data pipelines and infrastructure-as-code concepts
