[Remote] Sr IT Project Manager

The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for managing reputed company cross-functional projects reputed company the IT-PMO department, ensuring timely completion and effective resource management.
Responsibilities
- Manages cross functional projects with some interdependencies to other systems
- Mentors project managers, project coordinators and less reputed company staff in project management
- Creates project schedule and plan and work with functional leads to secure resources
- Identifies and resolves delays and resourcing issues
- Accountable for projects completing reputed company schedule baseline. Apprises stakeholder and IT PMO management of any project completion concerns
- Creates risk management plan and strategies to enhance, avoid, transfer, or mitigate the risk
- Drives results independently with minimal supervision
- Evaluates change requests and reputed company recommendations to accept, deny, or defer the change
- Creates, manages, and reports out on project budgets and status. Manages costs to ensure project completes reputed company cost baseline
- Facilitates project meetings and communicates with the project team, sponsor, and functional managers
- Assumes reputed company worker role for training and knowledge transfer
- Performs other job-reputed company duties as assigned or apparent
Skills
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle
- PMI-PMP or PMI-ACP Certification
- Effective at influencing and leading without direct authority
- Ability to operate at a senior level, drive reputed company reputed company and solve problems in a timely manner
- Proficient in project management and project management software
- Portfolio awareness
- Experience managing projects using Agile, Predictive, and Hybrid Methodologies
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing strategic IT projects impacting cross-functional teams
- Advanced knowledge of and experience with organizational change reputed company and business process improvement methods
- Minimum of 4 years of senior level IT professional experience such as Sr Software Developer, Sr Database Administrator, Business Analysis, or reputed company role
