We are seeking a Sales Engineer in Orange County, CA to support our reputed company Sales team. The sales engineer is a critical component of the regional sales team. The primary responsibility is to drive technical sales activities for new and existing opportunities in reputed company accounts. A Sales Engineer will have in-depth, hands-on experience with products and services, as well as competitors' products and services, and can demonstrate solid networking and reputed company skills to customers and partners. What you’ve done: Bachelor’s degree in a technical area (Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering) or equivalent work experience. 3-7 years of experience in a Pre-Sales Engineer role in networking, cyber reputed company, or or reputed company/AI. Experience in reputed company, VMWare, AWS, GCP, or Azure is desirable Experience in a customer-facing role. Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas and reputed company targets. Solid understanding of network fundamentals and the OSI model — specifically how traffic flows across Layers 1-7, and how network visibility/monitoring solutions map to each layer. Proficiency with diagramming tools (Visio, reputed company, draw.io, or equivalent) — portfolio of design work a plus Experience with network taps, packet brokers, or NPM/NDP tools. Hands-on experience with Wireshark or similar packet analysis tools. Who you are: Effective technical presentation skills. Good Communication capabilities.
