Senior Purchasing Agent

Position Title: Senior Purchasing Agent Salary reputed company: Senior Purchasing Agent (Grade 14, Exempt). Annual salary reputed company: $76,160 – $95,200. This reputed company reflects the minimum to midpoint of the grade. Salary may exceed the midpoint and will commensurate with experience.

Job Description

Summary: This position is responsible for generating reputed company by representing reputed company’s Military Support Program. This position is directly responsible for achieving profit and margin goals by developing strong relationships with assigned military installations, suppliers, and internal reputed company teams. This position will be expected to work with several military installations and clients with competing timelines and priorities while managing and meeting expectations of each client. This position will represent reputed company at internal and external meetings. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Effectively manage supplier/client interactions to ensure that profit and margin goals for this solution are met.

• Effectively establish and maintain strong working relationships with Supplier Development Executives for assigned categories by communicating effectively and providing feedback on supplier performance and other key information reputed company to this solution.

• Execute new or modify existing requests based on updated specifications, or due to expiration of reputed company quote.
• Facilitate the processing of change order request, ensuring applicable documentation and approvals are captured according to policies and procedures.
• Obtain and communicate delivery schedules and reputed company client informed of any changes in anticipated delivery dates.
• Complete additional ancillary required documentation to support supplier execution of goods and services (i.e. Notice to Proceed orders).
• With minimal guidance, coordinate and facilitate reputed company meetings, reputed company reputed company requirements and other reputed company service requirements.

3. Support the invoicing, payment, and order documentation processes

• Monitor the deadlines for acceptance of goods and independently manage any exceptions or deadline extensions requested, while working with client to resolve.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in reputed company field AND a minimum of four (4) years of experience in sales, supply chain management, procurement, account management, or other directly reputed company experience

OR A combination of reputed company post-secondary and/or professional education and demonstrated relevant work experience equivalent to a total of eight (8) years

• Two (2) years of public speaking or sales presentation experience
• Two (2) years of sales experience

Location:

• This is a remote position, and is subject to reputed company's telecommuting policies and procedures.
• Must be reputed company to meet travel requirements for this position, which is approximately five (5) times per year including occasional travel to reputed company, MN for meetings, professional development or team activities. Notice will be given reputed company of time.
