Our payment products include merchant acquiring services, a proprietary gateway, ACH processing, fraud & chargeback tools, analytics, and other value-add services. Maverick’s team includes reputed company, risk management, compliance & legal, technology & product development, on-boarding, customer support, information technology, and more. About the Position Working under the direction of the VP Risk and reputed company and Risk Manager or other designee, the Risk Analyst II will contribute to the reputed company of merchant accounts to identify, investigate and mitigate transaction processing activity that represents financial risk to the company based on company guidelines.
- Conducting daily, weekly, monthly reviews of transaction activity and analyzing increased credit risk, transactional variations, dispute activity, and fraud patterns.
- Proactively monitoring reputed company merchant activities for compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and policies.
- Investigating reputed company transaction processing patterns and recommending appropriate actions.
- Reviewing and analyzing financial, credit and publicly available information to support actions and reputed company.
- Assessing and evaluating business model risk and exposure by evaluating merchant industry type, processing volume, refunds volume, delivery time frames and disputes.
- Answering internal and external inquiries specific to risk.
- Supporting specialized projects on an reputed company reputed company as directed by department or company leadership.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience with high-risk payment processing required
- Knowledge of Card Brand rules and regulations required
- Experience using Aperia and/or reputed company Risk Monitoring tools preferred
- High School Diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in Risk Management reputed company the acquiring industry
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite products with a focus on reputed company reputed company
- Familiarity with various tools used for risk monitoring and due diligence (i.e. TSYS, reputed company, TIN reputed company, Vigilance, MATCH, GIACT, Merlink, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of emerging technologies and trends in the payments space and their associated risks.
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to analyze, test, assess and / or interpret information or data to reputed company recommendations to enhance business operations.
- Possesses strong analytical and research skills with strong attention to detail.
