Position Overview As an Academic Support Specialist, your primary objective will be to assist in teaching essential concepts to students in grades 9-12 within specific subject areas.
Responsibilities
Conduct open tutoring sessions as scheduled, both in designated subject rooms and within the main center area. Advertise and promote tutoring availability along with scheduling information. Maintain a consistent schedule as coordinated with your supervisor. Offer support to teachers as required. Develop and manage a tracking system to monitor student appointments, progress, and areas for improvement. Foster clear communication with Math SGI teachers to provide assistance to students experiencing difficulties in class.
Requirements
Proficiency in mathematics up to Algebra II and Geometry. Strong Computer Skills And Prior Experience With Microsoft Software. Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
