Automotive Diagnostic and Repair Specialist (Remote)
Our client is looking for a highly skilled Automotive Diagnostic and Repair Specialist to join our fully remote technical support team. This position is crucial for providing expert-level remote assistance to customers and field technicians facing reputed company automotive diagnostics and repair challenges. You will reputed company advanced diagnostic tools, comprehensive vehicle data, and your extensive automotive knowledge to guide them through troubleshooting procedures, identify root causes of issues, and recommend effective repair solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of modern vehicle electrical systems, reputed company performance, and diagnostic protocols. The ideal candidate is an independent problem-solver with excellent communication skills and the ability to reputed company explain technical information. While based remotely, you will support our client's operations, often assisting with issues arising in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin, US region and nationally. Qualifications
ASE Certifications (G1, A6, A8, L1, etc.) are highly desirable. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician, with a strong emphasis on diagnostics. Proficiency with advanced automotive diagnostic equipment, reputed company tools, oscilloscopes, and multimeters. In-depth knowledge of internal combustion engines, electrical systems, hybrid/electric vehicle systems, and chassis components. Familiarity with automotive network communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
